The Story

Wootsiedoo is a name my daughter called one of her dolls when she was about four-years-old. I loved the name, and knew I had to do something with it.  I made numerous attempts to start a business, but I wasn’t clear on the direction.  I also allowed life to get the best of me. As a single parent, I was working hard; however, under valued, which is the story of most startup business owners.  Now, I must bring this business to fruition because there are young people counting on me. Who are these young people, you might be asking yourself?  Well, look around; they need us now more than ever.  Some don’t realize how talented they are, until we give them the opportunity to truly express themselves. Now a little bit about me.

Hi! My name is Nowana Easley, Founder & CEO of Wootsiedoo. I’m a mom of a soon to be 20 year old, whom I love dearly.  I’ve dedicated over ten years of service to the public sector. I’ve always had a passion for law which makes sense that I have a degree in Administration of Justice.  While my career has spanned from Pre-Sentence Investigation Assistant, Child Protective Services Specialist, Global Security Analyst, Facilities Services Business Manager and more roles in between, nothing is more fulfilling than being a mom, a daughter, and a sibling. Family is everything.

My inspiration for art is all due to my daughter who is an artist. I observed her artistic ability when she was in kindergarten.  Then came sketchbooks, paints, and all things wonderfully artsy. I’m just getting started all over again.  Moral of the story, don’t give up on your dreams, no matter what. Stick around, I have a feeling, great things are coming. I hope you enjoy the journey with us, as we discover the art of everything.
